Baked Whole Grain-Rich Biscuit French Toast

A yogurt, egg and cinnamon mixture poured over biscuits and baked becomes a rich, sweet version of breakfast favorite French toast.

  1. Remove plastic overwrap from thawed biscuits and place biscuit tray on parchment-lined half sheet pan.
  2. Mix eggs, sugar, yogurt and cinnamon together in a small bowl. Pour egg mixture evenly over biscuits in tray.
  3. Bake as directed below.
  1. Convection Oven* | 325°F | 23-26 minutes
  2. Standard Oven | 375°F | 36-39 minutes
  3. *Rotate pans baked in convection oven one-half turn (180°) after 11 minutes of baking.

  • Cut evenly around each biscuit and lift out of paper tray with a spatula to serve. Drizzle with syrup before serving if desired or serve with a sausage link for extra protein. Note nutrition information may change.
  • Note: A serving of “whole grain-rich” food must meet portion size requirements for the Grains/Breads component as defined in FNS guidance and meet at least one of the following: (a) the whole grains per serving is less than or equal to 8g, (b) the product includes the FDA whole grain health claim on package, or (c) product ingredient listing lists whole grain first, or second ingredient after water.
