American cheese slices

  1. Thaw flatbread covered, either 30 minutes at room temperature or refrigerated overnight.
Assembly
  1. Place 3 American cheese slices on half of the flatbread, then 3 Swiss cheese slices on top. Fold sandwich closed and place on lightly greased griddle preheated to 350°F. Cover and cook for 2-4 minutes until golden brown, flip and finish for 2-4 minutes uncovered until browned and cheese is melted. Cut into 4 wedges and serve immediately.

  • Brush the tops with olive oil and sprinkle with herbs for extra flavor and texture. Add ham or bacon for meat-lovers, or avocado and tomato for a veggie offering.
