A French bread roll stands in for a pita in this gyros sandwich, made with traditional gyro meat, veggies and a Yoplait® Nonfat Plain Yogurt tzatziti cucumber sauce.

Gyro meat slices, cooked
2 oz
Baby kale, fresh
1/4 cup
Tomato slices, fresh
2 Tbsp
Red onions, diced
2 Tbsp
Cucumbers, sliced
2 Tbsp
Greek Sauce - 26 servings (1/4 cup)
  1. Combine yogurt, cucumber, red pepper, olive oil, lemon juice, garlic powder, salt and pepper in mixing bowl.
  2. Cover and chill until ready to serve.
Assembly
  1. Press French bread roll open and arrange gyro meat slices across bottom half.
  2. Serve warm and garnish with kale, tomato slices, onions, cucumber slices and 1/4 cup Greek Sauce.

  • Serve with sides such as steamed broccoli with a fresh lemon wedge, pineapple and blueberry fruit cup and milk if desired.
