Mini Fudge Rustic Tarts

Pillsbury™ Frozen Pie Dough Rounds are the tender, flaky outside for single-serving, decadent and fudgy cupcake tarts.

Butter, softened

Semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instant coffee granules

Vanilla extract

Walnuts, chopped

  1. Thaw pie dough, covered, at room temp. 15-30 minutes until flexible or refrigerate overnight.
  1. Add chocolate to microwavable bowl, heating on high for 30 seconds; stir and repeat until fully melted.
  2. Add butter and sugar to mixer bowl fitted with paddle attachment; mix on medium speed until light and fluffy.
  3. Beat in eggs one at a time; mix in melted chocolate, instant coffee (dry) and vanilla extract.
  4. Add flour and walnuts and mix on low speed until combined.
  1. Place liners in 24 regular muffin cups; cut dough rounds into quarters and place 1 piece into each cup.
  2. Press dough into bottom and up sides; add approx. 2 Tbsp batter into each cup.
  3. Bake as directed below and cool on rack for 30 minutes before serving.
  1. Convection Oven* | 325°F | 14-19 minutes
  2. Standard Oven | 375°F | 20-25 minutes
  3. *Rotate pans baked in convection oven one-half turn (180°) after 7 minutes of baking.
