Monte Cristo Biscuit Sandwiches

Swiss cheese, sliced

Turkey, sliced, heated

Ham, sliced, heated

  1. Whisk eggs and milk together in a large mixing bowl.
  2. Add flour, sugar, baking powder and salt; stir until smooth and hold for Finishing.
  1. Split baked biscuits in half while warm.
  2. Spread 1/2 tsp mayonnaise on one half of biscuit and 1/2 tsp mustard on the other half.
  3. Layer on 1/2 slice of Swiss cheese, 1 oz warmed turkey, 1 oz warmed ham and remaining 1/2 slice Swiss cheese.
  4. Place on top half of biscuit and secure with toothpick or wooden skewer.
  1. Dip assembled sandwich into Batter mixture until covered.
  2. Submerge into deep-fat fryer preheated to 350°F; fry approx. 2-3 minutes until golden brown.
  3. Place fried sandwiches onto sheet pan and bake as directed below until center is at least 165°F; serve warm.
  1. Convection Oven | 325°F | 8-9 minutes
  2. Standard Oven | 350°F | 8-9 minutes

  • Dust sandwich with powdered sugar if desired and serve with a side of raspberry jam for dipping. Note nutrition information will change.
