Orange Pecan Sticky Buns

Just a few additions turn a frozen cinnamon roll into an orange-scented, gooey sticky bun.

Butter, unsalted, softened

Orange marmalade
1.50 oz
1/4 cup
Granulated sugar
1.50 oz
3 Tbsp
Brown sugar, packed
1.50 oz
5 Tbsp
Kosher salt

Pecans, chopped

  1. Thaw cinnamon rolls on sheet pan approx. 20 minutes.
  2. Spray 8-inch round cake pan generously with cooking spray.
  3. Melt butter in small saucepan over medium heat.
  4. Add orange marmalade, sugar, brown sugar and salt to saucepan, stirring well to combine.
  5. Heat while stirring constantly until smooth consistency is reached and sugars are dissolved, approx. 2-3 minutes.
  6. Pour mixture into cake pan and spread evenly; sprinkle with chopped pecans and place cinnamon rolls on top.
  7. Bake as directed below and invert onto full sheet pan or serving platter immediately upon removing from oven.

*Rotate pans baked in convection oven one-half turn (180°) after 13 minutes of baking.

  • If pan is allowed to cool, sticky buns may be difficult to remove from pan. Return pan to oven 2-3 minutes to reheat and sticky buns will release more easily.
