A burger from Jennings and Co. must be exceptional, as they create a new burger every week. These Neighborhood to Nation contest-winning sliders are Cheddar-topped mini burgers with a tangy bbq topping, on Pillsbury™ Garlic & Cheddar mini biscuits.

Tangy BBQ Caramelized Onions (Makes 5 1/2 cups)

Tangy BBQ Caramelized Onions
  1. Add dry ingredients to medium-sized stock pot.
  2. Whisk in vinegar, mustard, tomato paste, water, molasses and worcestershire sauce.
  3. Bring to a boil over medium heat; reduce heat and simmer 40 to 45 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. Meanwhile, melt butter in large skillet over medium heat. Add onions; stir to coat.
  5. Cook onions slowly, stirring occasionally, approx. 30 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Stir in onions into mixture in stock pot; cook until thick. Store in refrigerator until Assembly.
Burgers
  1. Divide and shape ground beef into 48 (2 oz) patties, each about 3 inches in diameter. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Refrigerate until Assembly.
Assembly (Made-to-Order)
  1. Cook burgers on a flat-top or grill until browned on both sides and cooked through.
  2. Top each burger with piece of cheese; cook until cheese is melted.
  3. Split biscuits in half; spread cut sides with butter. Toast butter side down on flat-top or grill.
  4. Place 1 tablespoon warmed Tangy BBQ Caramelized Onions on bottom half of each biscuit. Top with burger, cheese side up. Top each with half slice of bacon and remaining biscuit half. Serve 3 sliders with your favorite side.
