Spiced Haitian Pineapple Pull-Aparts

Warm spices combine with sweet pineapple and brown sugar to create a croissant pull-apart that will transport you to the tropics!

Dark brown sugar, packed

3/4 cup
Cinnamon, ground
1/2 tsp
Nutmeg, ground
1/8 tsp
Cloves, ground
1/8 tsp
Ginger, ground
1/8 tsp
Diced pineapple, canned, drained

Prep
  1. Thaw croissant dough covered, either at room temperature for 1 hour or refrigerated overnight.
  2. Cut each croissant into 4 pieces; set aside.
Assembly
  1. Combine brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves and ginger in large bowl.
  2. Add croissant pieces and toss gently to evenly coat. Place 12 paper liners into jumbo muffin tin; coat liners with pan spray.
  3. Add 4 croissant pieces into each muffin liner then top with 1 oz diced pineapple.
  4. Top with 4 more croissant pieces and bake as directed until golden brown; allow to cool in pan for 5 minutes before inverting pan to remove.
