Spicy Cheddar Breadsticks

Mix cheddar, parmesan and cayenne pepper, and roll biscuit dough through the cheese into thin ropes that bake into savory breadsticks.

Servings: 24 servings (1 serving = 1 breadstick)

Cheddar cheese, shredded

Parmesan cheese, shredded

2 1/4 cups
Cayenne pepper, ground

  1. Thaw biscuit pucks, covered, for 20 minutes at room temperature or overnight in refrigerator.
  2. Mix cheeses and ground red pepper in medium-sized mixing bowl; spread on sheet pan.
  3. Cut biscuits in half and roll in cheese mixture into 8-inch long ropes (or longer for thinner breadsticks).
  4. Place cheese sticks on lightly greased parchment-lined full sheet pan and bake as directed below (or adjust bake times if thinner).
